Sod the book and sod the future. You're going after the girl who was there for you when you really, really needed it, even if by unhappy accident. She probably needs someone right now too, after what happened with the last guy. Maybe along the way, just maybe, you'll be able to heal and live in the real world, together, for as long as you're able, in whatever function that may be. Because even though life is shit, there are little moments, like the one you had with her tonight, that make it worth living a little longer.
