She leaned back.

"I think you need to be alone now.

I smiled.

"Thank-you."

"Well, just call me the satbilising element. I'm Arianne, by the way."

"John."

She smiled at me softly and kissed me again, softly, caringly.

"And just in case you nearly get there but need a little extra kick of a reason to stick around..."

Suddenly I was on my back with her tongue in my mouth, not as rough as the first time but it felt even better. Hands wandered, she clenched a fist in my hair, Iraked my nails down her back, she ground against me, I growled at her unconciously and she pulled away, grinning.

"Down boy. I slipped my number into your pocket, in case you ever want to do this sober."

She got off me and I stood, helping her up. We threw the last of the win into the sea.

"Are you going to fade into mist now too?" I asked, with a little too much vulnerability in my voice.

"No, dummy." she said, kissing me softly for the last time.

"I'm real." She said as she turned and sauntered off, deliberately wiggling her hips as she walked.

"Oh good god that was... I can't... words... christ..." I muttered to myself after she'd gone.

Finally, I turned to the water, the only constant of the day, and did as she asked.

I took a moment.
